Order of Play |
Members (or Visitors) desiring to play shall upon arrival register their names in the book or on the sheets provided as appropriate. The Duty Rota Supervisor shall be responsible for ensuring that sets are satisfactorily organised consistent with the reasonable wishes of those wanting to play. |
No adult is permitted to play on the Courts unless only one or three or five or seven Members are present, in which case an adult may be permitted to complement numbers. They should leave the Courts if the arrival of Members enables games to consist of Members only. Coaches are exempted from this rule. |
Singles games are not permitted when there are more than four Members (or their Visitors) wishing to play. |
Members attending the Club are expected to play when asked by the Duty Rota Supervisor, and not to use the Club solely as a meeting place. |
Individual Members may book a Court for home matches in postal tournaments by displaying a notification of details on the Club notice board. One Court only may be used for this purpose at any one time, subject to the Courts not being required for a purpose of higher priority. Members should avoid bookings in rota times whenever possible for obvious reasons. |
Club and Box League matches take precedence over individual play. |
