The Club Rules
(to be read in conjunction with the Club’s Constitution)

General

The following rules shall be strictly observed by all Members of the Club, as defined by Clauses 2 and 8 of the Constitution, and where applicable, by Visitors.

Use of Premises

The Club shall be opened for play during daylight hours throughout the year provided that a Duty Rota Supervisor, appointed by the Management Committee, or in his or her absence an appropriate responsible adult, is present.

No games other than Lawn Tennis may be played on the Courts.

Unreasonable behaviour, such as rowdy and noisy conduct, acts of vandalism or bullying, anywhere on the Club premises (defined as Courts, Pavilion and adjoining land leased by the Club), causing damage or likely to injure or cause annoyance to other people, including Members, Visitors and Neighbours, will result in the suspension of the Members concerned. If a Visitor is involved, he or she will be asked to leave the premises without repayment of fee.

Any damage to the Club premises or Club property must be reported at once, either to the Duty Rota Supervisor, Honorary Secretary or Member of the Committee (as defined in Clause 5 of the Constitution), by the person(s) responsible or by the person(s) discovering the damage.

No player will be allowed to play on the Courts unless wearing suitable tennis shoes without heels.
