* All Summerway Members are allocated to a Grade for purposes of Group Coaching, which is provided weekly as far as is possible at the times stated and subject to Coach availability. The Club Coaches take the Groups on a voluntary basis, free of charge, so coaching must be regarded as a generous gift, and not a right of membership.
* The composition of the Grades is largely dependent on playing standard. Beginners are allocated to Grade 4B, and progress through Grades 4A, 3B, 3A and 2 to Grade 1, provided that they improve and persevere. Grade 5 is mixed ability, and consists of players accepted into membership over and above the Club's coaching capacity.
* If any member feels that he/she has been put in the wrong Grade, please speak with John Harley, our principal coach, who will carefully consider whatever points are put to him, and make any decision necessary.
* Work hard to improve your standard, and you will be promoted when it is appropriate.
